Disclaimer: Not all weddings have a bride, and some weddings have two brides. This blog post is for brides who might be thinking about a bridal portrait session where we take additional portraits prior to the wedding. I receive so many questions asking – Do I need a bridal portrait session? The answer varies for […]
It’s official – Lucy and Ben tied the knot in a gorgeous, spring Dover Hall wedding! They, like everyone else who was planning a 2020 wedding, were impacted by Covid. Their original wedding was scheduled for September 2020, but they eventually landed on postponing until May 2021. And let me tell you – the weather […]
Okay – I know 2020 was a dud, but this wedding was nothing less than beautiful! Katelyn and Josh tied the knot during a warm summer Saturday at the Barn at Turkey Ridge. This was my first time at this venue and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The barn itself is situated […]
Part Two is here! Late summer and fall seasons did not look the same, although we managed to stay pretty busy. We had senior portraits, engagement sessions and plenty of weddings, both small and medium-sized. We managed to contract Covid (even though we were SO careful!!) but were able to quarantine and not infect anyone. […]
This year…whew. It kicked my ass. Actually, I think it kicked everyone’s ass! Instead of doing the traditional “Best of” blog series we do every year, I wanted to take a more comprehensive, chronological look back on 2020. It was a whirlwind and I want to take you all along for the ride. Before I […]
George and Anthony got married at the gorgeous Great Marsh Estate on a gorgeous October afternoon. I was so grateful to be witness to their love and commitment to one another!
Lindsay + Adam tied the knot during a seasonably warm February day at Early Mountain Vineyards in Earlysville, VA. Their wedding had stunning florals and details – and most of them were done by the bride herself!
This late spring intimate wedding at Restoration Hall featured a family-style dinner among friends and a stunning water-side vow renewal.
Hannah did an amazing job with my wedding photos! She is easy to contact and got back to us in record time, every time. She was professional, but still made the entire process fun! She coordinated the first look pictures beautifully. She gave great direction to everyone in each picture so they knew exactly what she was looking for and gave time for us to be ourselves as well. She got us through the family portraits in great time (which was important to me), but I didn't feel rushed and they look amazing! The bride and groom session was so much fun as well. I didn't anticipate enjoying that portion of the wedding as much as I did, and it is truly thanks to Hannah. She was even willing to do another session with us later in the wedding on the beach which was exactly what I wanted.
Hannah and her second-shooter, Anthony, shot my wedding photos and did an amazing job! They perfectly captured the feel and energy we were going for and I could not have asked for a better experience.
They were so friendly and easy to work with and made us both feel comfortable even though we're not natural photo-takers. I would definitely recommend!
I hired Hannah as my wedding photographer in 2016, almost 2 years in advanced, for my Sept 2018 wedding and when my husband and I finally got to meet Hannah for our engagement photo session in Sept 2017, we knew instantly that we wouldn't have wanted anyone else for this job. She matched our personality's perfectly and we knew that she was going to make our BIG day even more enjoyable.
I knew she had it handled. We could not be happier with Hannah, her fantastic second shooter and the third shooter she brought to help with her for the day since she was injured. We received TONS of pictures and there is not one that we did not like. If I could have Hannah to photograph every big event for the rest of my life, I would without a doubt!
