Anthony and George had a gorgeous fall wedding at Great Marsh Estate in Bealeton, Virginia. I was lucky enough to work alongside Nicole Colwell and second shoot this elegant affair. One of my favorite parts of the whole day was their private ceremony where they got legally married and exchanged personal vows. They then had an fun ceremony in front of all their friends and family that was a real tearjerker! It really weighed on me the fact that marriage between two men had only been legal for less than 5 years when they got married, and it was emotional for everyone who witnessed how deeply they loved each other. After the ceremony, the wedding party took a quick break inside to escape the unseasonably warm weather before family and wedding party portraits. I had the pleasure of being in charge of the wedding party photos – and they were a blast! Both Anthony and George’s friends were incredibly supportive and made sure that they had their best day ever. We even got to use fun “Love is Love” fans to further celebrate their love! Afterwards, we took some sunset portraits down by the reception space in the glowy golden hour light. It was the perfect ending to our time together – and we have stayed in touch ever since! George and Anthony, your day was a perfect testament to your love for one another, and I was so grateful to be a witness to that. Cheers!
