INQUIRY
The Hannah Joy Wedding Experience begins when you first reach out! I know wedding planning is stressful and it doesn’t help when you have to wait to get quotes from vendors. I always respond to inquiries within 24 hours, usually less! My goal is to make your job easier – I just want you to focus on getting married, not waiting for me to respond!
VIDEO OR PHONE CALL
I feel like this is so important, because I not only want to make sure my services fit within your budget, but that my personality fits with what you are looking for on your wedding day! I love, love, love hearing about how you two met and I want you both to have a space where you can ask any questions you have. Bonus – If you’re local to the greater-Charlottesville area, I would love to meet in person!
BOOKING
If you two feel that I am the right fit, I will send a contract, invoice and brief questionnaire over. If you want to see any of these items at any point in the booking process, please let me know and I would be happy to send a blank one over! Once everything is signed, you two are officially a Hannah Joy Couple!
ENGAGEMENT SESSION
As soon as the contract is signed, we can start planning your engagement session. I will send over a guide full of helpful information, which includes outfit and location ideas. We will work together to pick a date and location that best suits you two! P.S. Your furry friends are more than welcome to tag along!
GALLERY DELIVERY PT. I
About 2 weeks after your engagement session, I will send over the fully edited final gallery of all your gorgeous images! I will also send over a print release, which allows you all to use your images on your save-the-dates, or otherwise print them wherever you want. I love seeing you all share your images, so please feel free to do so!
TIMELINE + PLANNING RESOURCES
One of the most difficult parts of wedding planning is the creation of a solid timeline. Thankfully, I have helped to craft over 100 wedding timelines, so I am a pro! About 3 months before your big day, I will send over a questionnaire that will ask about different parts of your day. I will then use that information to craft a timeline that allows for the best photos, and for you all to stress as little as possible! I am more than happy to meet in person to do this as well, so please reach out if you’d like to meet up to get some help.
WEDDING DAY!
Once the timeline is set, and all the little details are in place, it is wedding day! Woohoo – let’s get you two married! On the morning of the wedding, I will show up all excited and ready to rock your photos. My main goal on the wedding day is to make your time as fun and relaxing as possible, all while capturing the memories you will want to remember for the rest of your life.
GALLERY DELIVERY PT. II
Before the gallery is ready, and generally before the end of the week, I will blog about 50 of my favorite images from your day. Don’t worry – I will email you all once the blog is up so you won’t miss it! Within 3-4 weeks after your wedding day, you all will receive a link to the online gallery that holds all your edited wedding images. This gallery will be the same one that holds your engagement images, so everything is in one place for you!
ALBUM DESIGN
Not everyone opts to have an album, but I think they are so important! There is nothing like the feeling of physically holding your images in your own hands and reliving the day. The gallery is set up so that you can choose all your favorite images, and I can design the album from there. I will send you all a guide that explains the album design and delivery process, so nothing should seem too daunting!
ALBUM DELIVERY
About 4 weeks after you two approve the final album edits, you will receive your wedding album in the mail – along with some other goodies! This will allow you two to start your family legacy with one of the greatest heirloom items you can have – a gorgeous, luxury wedding album.
