If you have decided you would like to book a bridal session, this post is for you! I’m answering a few frequently asked questions and showing off Lucy’s bridal portraits at Dover Hall Estate. If you are still deciding, check out this post – I hope it’ll help!
One of the main questions brides ask me is where to get the florals for their session! Many times, your florist can create an arrangement that is similar to what they are planning for your wedding. This bouquet is often smaller, which allows us to create photos that will have a complementary look to your wedding day. If your florist is unable to make this arrangement, many local florists are willing to help! (P.S. Ask us for recommendations – we love sharing our favorite vendors!).
Another question brides ask is if they can getting ready photos during the session. While your bridal portrait session is primarily about photos of you in your complete bridal “look,” we can absolutely take the time to capture getting ready photos. We won’t take too much time doing this since there will be more opportunities (and fun candid moments) on the wedding day, but it can be a great time to get some solo shots. They are also fun shots to share with your partner after the wedding!
One final question we often receive is about what to pack. With that, we say, your bridal details! This is a great time for me to see what details you have and get some additional shots of these items. Often, taking detail shots on the wedding day is very rushed, so I always appreciate the extra time! I will ask that you bring anything that you know you will want to wear on your wedding day. That’s really it! Bridal sessions are such a fun way to celebrate your engagement season. Enjoy some of my favorite bridal portraits of Lucy at Dover Hall Estate!
