You aren’t seeing double – this Virginia winery engagement session features Lauren and Ben, the two UVA sweethearts who won our engagement session giveaway last year! Their first session was at Swannanoa Palace in Afton on a beautiful early summer day. They also wanted some some classic Virginia winery engagement photos at their wedding venue. The pair is getting married at Trump Winery in 2022, so that’s where we headed to next.
Trump Winery is a stunning venue, especially in that good golden hour, sunset light. We started up at the Grand Hall and then worked our way down the vineyard. We stopped at some vines along the way and then ended up at the Pavillion. One of our favorite features – the pond! We love a good pond to provide some texture to the background. Both Lauren and Ben had a couple outfit changes, so we actually ended the session back up at the vines.
We had the best time at their first engagement session, and an even better time the second time around during their Virginia winery engagement session. I know these two are going to make this place their own once the big day comes next spring. I’m so excited to continue to watch these two grow and love each other more every day!
